The two closest lakes - Upper and Lower Thetis Lake - are breathtaking and highly active summer lakes for swimming, fishing, and beach side activities.
There are separate human and dog beaches, as well as plenty of access points for safe boat and water equipment access.
Elk Lake and Beaver Lake are conjoined lakes that boast four family-friendly beaches.
The area offers picnic grounds and 15 km of very walkable trails, including a 10 km loop trail.
The park also features a Nature Centre, group picnic areas and an accessible fishing dock (Elk Lake is stocked with Rainbow Trout.)
Goldstream Provincial Park lies amid the splendour of an old-growth temperate rain forest and hosts a world class salmon-spawning stream with thousands of Chum Salmon returning between October and December. The Visitor centre is at the mouth of the river, overlooking the Goldstream estuary, nestled among giant black cottonwoods and red alder trees.
